The Right to Privacy
The user data stored on Anquet Cloud is yours. We will not share it or use it without first seeking your permission. You can record your travels and plot and create your routes within the apps. We currently supply apps on four platforms - PC, macOS, iOS and Android. To allow users to access their data on any app easily, we sync data to Anquet Cloud.
On both iOS and Android apps, users need to grant the apps permission to use their location. This location data is only used by the app to show your location on the map and to record tracklogs (a trail of locations that records your journey) when a user selects the 'Start Tracklog' function.
Visitors and users are not required to complete a registration form. A user must give certain contact information during registration and purchase, but we never sell or give away this information. This data is only used to contact the user about services on our site for which s/he has expressed interest. We publish a newsletter and never sell or share our subscribers' email addresses. We operate online surveys to help improve our service.
We require information from customers when purchasing a subscription. A user must provide contact information such as name, email, contact number and address. We never see full credit card details, as this is all handled by our payment provider Stripe. We therefore do not store credit card details. We share customer details with any 3rd parties.
Any information submitted to Anquet in this form is only used for tracking system errors and improving the products for users.
If you wish for Anquet to remove all of your personal data from our servers for Outdoor Map Navigator, please email firstname.lastname@example.org from the email address associated with the Outdoor Map Navigator account that you wish to have removed. Once authenticated, we will remove all of your Outdoor Map Navigator account data from our servers such as your tracklogs, route data, etc.
