Anquet's Favourite Map Bundles
You're just a few minutes away from downloading your first Anquet
Map Bundle.
Favourite Map Bundles are bundles of map data for specific areas
for a set price.
Any Anquet map title on disk can be downloaded as a Favourite
Map Bundle. So if you have found a map title you like the look of
on our website you can download it as a Favourite Map Bundle using
your Anquet software.
If you are new to Anquet, you'll need to install Anquet's
award-winning free v06 software first. To intsall Anquet, click here.
Then launch your v06 software, connect to the map store and
select the title you need from Anquet Favourite Map Bundles.
A Simple Example
In this simple example, we will look at the contents of
our Lake District National Park product:
1. From the Map Menu on the Anquet Maps Toolbar, select an
"overview" type-map such as the OS Road Map or
OS GB Overview Map.

2. Scroll the map by left clicking on the map and dragging it
until you can see the Lake District National Park
3. Use Tools->Map Manager to open the Map
Manager
3. Having connected to the Anquet MapServer
select the 'Map Store' tab.
4. Select 'Anquet's Favourite Map Bundles' from the drop
down list at the top of the Map Manager.
5. Click on the '+' mark next to National Park
Series
6. Click on the '+' mark next to Lake District National
Park
7. You will now see the list of maps that are contained
within this product.

7. As you click on each map in the bundle, the area it
covers will be highlighted on the Map in the Anquet software. Click
on the OS 1:25,000 to see this as in the example above. This allows
you to investigate exactly the contents of the Map
Bundle.
8. The price of the Map Bundle is shown as £44.86 at the
bottom of the Map Manager. This is the price for all of the maps in
the Map Bundle.
9. If you want to purchase this Map Bundle, use the 'Add
to Basket' button to add it to your basket.
10. You can add more maps to your basket, and when you are
ready to purchase the mapping, just enter the Basket tab of the Map
Manager to complete the transaction.
Things to Note
-
Although in the example above, we used the GB Overview map
to view the shading of the pre-defined areas, we did that, as its a
free map that everyone can download keeping the example simple. You
can in fact view the pre-defined areas on any map that you have
available on your system. i.e. if you own 1:50,000 scale mapping,
you could view the pre-defined areas on that.
